Never syrupy

Flora Food Group and Xolv go way back together. The spin-off from Unilever continued as Upfield Group B.V. years ago and recently changed its name to Flora Food Group B.V. That name change is an important step in the company's evolution. The new name reflects the goal of providing future generations with delicious, natural and nutritious food that is more affordable and sustainable than its dairy equivalents. Think butter and spreads, creams, liquids and cheese. So that there is an attractive choice for everyone!

In doing so, Flora Food Group is responding to trends unfolding worldwide: population growth, demand for dairy alternatives, animal welfare concerns and environmental regulations. The name may be new, the brands are not, we are talking about 150 years of heritage. Marcel Onclin, Head of Treasury and Finance, has been with the company since 2018: "Flora Food Group operates in many countries, you can imagine that optimising and improving is always high on our agenda. And for that, in the area of credit insurance, we like to work together with the professionals at Xolv, who complement us with their specific knowledge of the credit insurance market. In a landscape where changes happen at lightning speed, it is nice to know that Xolv keeps track of developments and thinks along with us proactively. We can ask questions, but they also approach us to discuss issues. That service orientation is nice; the lines are short. If there is a problem, it is solved quickly. Xolv's boutique model ensures that communication is not syrupy. We always get quick contact with the professionals. I can't say other than that the now long-standing cooperation has been to our complete satisfaction."
