International player in the insurance market
Ecclesia's origins are in Germany. The Ecclesia Gruppe is a leading international insurance broker and originated over 100 years ago by offering health insurance in particular. It eventually grew to become the largest insurance intermediary in Germany. But Ecclesia has also been active outside Germany since the early 1990s. In several western European countries (the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Italy, Spain and Turkey), the Ecclesia Group has acquired important insurance intermediaries.
